School Uniform
At Dell Primary School we believe that the wearing of uniform promotes a sense of belonging to our school community.
The required uniform comprises a grey jumper or cardigan (with or without the Dell logo), a white shirt (or polo shirt in KS1) with black or grey trousers, smart shorts, or a dress/skirt. Socks should be black, grey or white. Children in Key Stage 2 (from years 3-6) should also wear our yellow/gold school tie. If your child chooses to wear nail varnish, it should be clear.
For PE, pupils should wear plan black or grey shorts and a plain t-shirt which can be white, or the colour of their house team. For outdoor PE, a plain black or grey tracksuit may be worn. On PE day, children should come into school wearing their PE kit. They will wear it for the day.
Brand new uniforms can be purchased from Screens in Rant Score, or purchased online at Screens Schoolwear. However, we have a range of good quality second hand uniform which is available to parents free of charge. Please speak to Mrs Berrecloth if you would like to have a look at what is available.
Please ensure that all items are named in order that we can try and return lost items to the correct person. If your child comes to school in trainers or wellies, please ensure they have their school shoes in their bag too!
Mobile Phones
Children in Years 5 and 6 who have been given permission to walk home alone, may bring a mobile phone for their journey to and from school. It is a requirement that it MUST be handed into the class teacher at the start of the day, and collected again at the end of the day. Please be aware that all smart-watches (with the ability to send/receive calls or messages) must also be signed into the Class Teacher in the morning and will be returned at the end of the school day.
