Key Stage 1 is made up of 3 classes who work closely together. Our curriculum runs on a 2 year rolling programme to ensure coverage of the National Curriculum. We enhance our curriculum in Key Stage 1 with an afternoon of forest schools each week. This is currently on a Monday. On forest schools day, children do not need to wear school uniform - old/outdoor clothing and waterproofs are recommended!

PE is taught weekly on a Tuesday for 1W and 1/2C and on a Thursday for 2C. On PE day, children should come to school wearing their PE kit. Please see our uniform expectations for this under parents information.

Forest Schools

We are proud to enhance our curriculum provision with forest schools. Mr Theobald will be leading one afternoon per week of forest school learning on a Monday afternoon. On this day, pupils in Years 1 and 2 should come into school wearing suitable outdoor clothing, instead of their school uniform.
